Here at The Father's Heart Ministries, we are committed to serving God and spreading the Love and Forgiveness of Jesus Christ throughout the nations . 

 

Currently, our focus is in the nation of Kenya where we have started a school for orphans called The Fathers Heart Ministries Education Center (formerly St. Angies Education Center) in the town of Kitale.  The town of Kitale is an 8-hour bus ride from the capital city of Nairobi. 

 

A key to improving the status on one's life in a poverty stricken country is in getting an education.  An education opens an infinite number of doors that lead to a world of opportunity.  The importance of an education in Kenya is huge.  In a nation where every child pays for school,  orphans have little or no chance of getting an education.  The Fathers Heart Ministries Educaton Center (TFHMEC) offers to orphans an opportunity for a hand up and not a hand out.  TFHMEC provides two meals a day for the children and a safe, educational and spiritual environment for learning.  The current population of 122 students use a local church building and an adjacent storage room as the school.  The classrooms are small and cramped but that doesn't deter the children from seeking their life-changing opportunity.

 

Our future goals in Kenya include the building of a new school on a two and one half acre parcel of land that was purchased in 2007, the building of an orphanage and a Mission Center on the same piece of property and also to bring water wells to the people of West Pokot.   West Pokot lies in the Rift Valley of Kenya where only thorny mesquite-like trees are abundant.  Children may have to walk 16 miles just to get water that would last them for about two days.

 

Through the work of The Father's Heart Ministries, we hope to bring the children of Kenya the joy in Jesus Christ - at every point in their lives, and encourage personal and spiritual growth through prayer, Bible study and active service in church and community.
